I have spent countless hours working on my Fleecy Feetsies brand. From colors to materials, how I want to package my dolls and ship them. Thinking about my style and the things that I love, it was very easy to choose a wooden hang tag for each Fleecy. These are just gorgeous and engraved with the business name and the little bird that is on my logo.
I designed my logo in Photoshop a long time ago. I changed it a few times and took the bird out and put him back in again. Ultimately, he stayed.
I then added a tiny silver pendant to each bear. There is a tiny bird in the middle of it and it sits on top of the wooden tag. I loved the combination and thought the mix of silver and wood kept the feel of rustic and quality in a good light.
I wrap my bears up with this beautiful wide linen ribbon that I found and it holds the bear snug for it's long journey. It also looks nice and makes the new owner feel like they are unwrapping a lovely gift. Ice blue is one of my favorite colors for so many reasons. It's nostalgic, seen on so many vintage items and fabrics and it's soft and charming. It adds the chic to the rustic.
For packaging, I use a large cardboard box and fill it with old shredded print. It could be old newspapers that are non-staining or old magazines. They key is that they are old and yellowing. This can be hard to find but is part of the process which makes my brand unique. the small details are what sets us apart as artists.
Lastly, my thank you note. I have logo stickers that go are ribboned onto my envelopes and always leave a thank you message to my customers as I am always grateful that someone loved my art enough to make the effort to acquire it.
